A Teddy Bears Picnic marked the launch of new service at St Mary's Church yesterday - although rain forced the little ones inside.

The new Jump for Joy afternoon service for 0 - 6-year-olds will be held in St Mary's Church Hall every Thursday between 2pm and 3pm during term time and will consist of songs, bible stories and activities for babies and
pre-school children with their carers followed by chat and refreshments.

The church is also holding an all age parade service on September 14 at 10am with the uniformed organisations followed by a BBQ for everyone in the church hall gardens.
