Grotto lot of festive fun at Park Cafe

A husband-and-wife team closed their Osterley cafe for one day to hold a charity Christmas party.

Barry Gidoomal and wife Sheila set up a Santa's grotto in Park Cafe, in Thornbury Road, to raise money for Disability Network Hounslow.

Guests who went along to the party on Saturday, December 13, also enjoyed a raffle, henna, face painting and festive food and drink.

Barry, 59, said: "It was so successful, despite the bad weather.

"We haven't counted how much we have raised yet as we are still receiving some contributions.

"The support we received really was tremendous though."

Barry hopes that their money will be used to buy wheelchairs for disabled children.
